The HEAT is on

In more than one ways the HEAT is on! Summer is upon us as well as the recent victory of our beloved Miami HEAT winning the 2012 NBA Championships.  Congratulations King James and teammates.

...and in fashion news, no matter what we do during these hot summer months, there is nothing escaping the heat so if you cannot beat it, then join it.... but only in style!

My second victim, I meant client was extremely easy to work with.  Smart, good looking with all the curves in the right places, she wore her dresses well.  Usually in jeans and comfy shoes, I wanted to soften her look yet not take her too far from the norm.  This was very much a fun trial experience and I cannot wait to do some more.

Changing Careers and taking prisoners

The idea came one night and I am putting that idea into action. Personal Shopper and stylist. Although I never studied fashion, I certainly love it! The shoes, accessories and make-up and have had a serious calling for me over the past couple of years.

My job, although fulfilling, keeps me grounded at a desk with the view of a pale industrial paint color on the walls of my office daily. It certainly gives me time to think...think about what color shirt would look good with that pair of pants and what shoes would look good with that dress and oh let me search for the latest hairstyles, color trends and what's hot for the season...oops, I am at work, snap out of it! I decided one day, I need to lean on my friends and family and bring those thoughts to fruition.

It was a day that I would never forget, July 10, 2011...but a day that I would never do over. It seemed like it all lasted 2 minutes. Almost like a dream, but very real. It all happened so fast, we even forgot to cut the cake.

I was very pleased with the flowers, cake, shoes, food and the venue. I would never hire that photographer again but nevertheless we got about 2 shots out of 855 that we were pleased with and was able to keep.

We honeymooned in Cancun Mexico, and enjoyed a week of blissful relaxation just savoring the moment.

We have a slice of wedding cake for our one year anniversary. Looking forward to July 10, 2012!
